UW-Oshkosh track athlete Ben Zill was named the 2010 NCAA Division III Midwest Region Indoor Track Athlete of the Year on Wednesday afternoon.
Zill, who did not lose a 400-meter race or pentathlon during the 2010 indoor season, also competed in the 55-meter hurdles, high jump, 1,600-meter relay and distance medley relay teams.
At the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship on Feb. 27 and 28, the senior broke school records in both the 400-meter run (48.70 seconds) and pentathlon (3,699 points).

He is also the anchor of the second-seeded 1,600-meter relay team and the fifth-seeded distance medley relay team.
