UW-Oshkosh senior Sue Trzebiatowski was named the 2010 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete on Tuesday.

The shot putter and weight-thrower shared the honor with UW-La Crosse’s Ashton May.

Trzebiatowski has also been named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team and WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll three times each.

The biology major, who is also working toward minors in both chemistry and Spanish, has earned a 3.92 grade point average.

Trzebiatowski is a three-time All-American in the shot put and weight throw events. She has worked her way from winning the conference shot put title and being named the Titans track and field team’s Rookie of the Year in 2007, to becoming the team’s captain this season.

Senior teammate Jordan Clark-Mand was also nominated for the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete award as well.
