The geology major has accumulated a 3.85 grade point average and was chosen to the first team based upon athletic achievements and academic performance.

While Borski has notched a goal and three assists, he has been instrumental to a Titans’ defense that has earned eight shutouts in 2009.

Senior Ayla Mitchell earned the 2009 Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women’s cross country.

Mitchell became the fifth Oshkosh runner to earn multiple Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship titles when she won the race for the second time on Saturday.

As an elementary education major, she has earned a 3.9 cumulative GPA, and was also named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women’s Cross-Country/Track and Field Third Team this year as well.

Titans’ senior middle blocker Jacque Ray was named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III National Player of the week on Tuesday.

Ray was named the Trinity Invitational’s outstanding player after hitting .410 with 43 kills, 14 blocks, three digs and two assists.
