The UW-Oshkosh women's swimming and diving team edged Carroll University 95-90, to win the opening meet of their season at Albee Hall on Oct. 31.
Top individual finishers for the Titans included sophomore Liz Schneider, who collected 18 points, finishing first in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.
Senior Angie Picotte added 12 points, finishing second in the 500-yard freestyle and third in 100-yard freestyle.
Sophomore Melissa Harvey also contributed 12 points by winning the 100-yard backstroke and taking third in the 200-yard freestyle.
Fellow freshman Katie Duffey placed second in 100-yard butterfly and third in 400-yard intermediate, tallying an additional seven points.
Other contributors for the Titans included junior Kim Price with three points and a third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly.
Junior Heather Statz added four points with a pair of fourth place finishes in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyles.
Senior Susan Curtis earned two points for the Titans, taking fifth in the 100-yard and 50-yard freestyles.
Sophomore Jennifer Karpinsky also scored two points by gaining a fourth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.
Senior Jana Krautkramer scored five points, which included a second-place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
Freshman Trisha Smithers notched a point, taking fifth in the 200-yard freestyle.
Senior Janna Oelrich tallied three points, placing third in the 50-yard freestyle.
Senior Lynnea Krajco was a fourth-place finisher in the 50-yard freestyle, which was good enough for two points.
The Titans also won the 400-yard medley relay as well.
