A convicted sex offender will be moving to Bowen Street on Nov. 30.
Ray A. Schiller, 68, will be moving to the 700 block of Bowen Street, which is approximately two miles off-campus, at the end of the November, according to a press release from the Oshkosh Police Department.

Schiller was convicted in 1993 of child enticement with intent to have sexual contact, an unclassified felony. His victims and targeted victims were juvenile girls.

He is not on active supervision, but will be monitored electronically and by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections staff on a 24-hour basis for the first year of his release, according to the press release.

Conditions of Schiller’s release require that he comply with lifetime sex offender registry, requirements of lifetime GPS and all other rules of supervised release, the press release said.

Schiller has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts, and is not wanted by the police at this time; however, conviction of a sex offense requires registration with the sheriff’s office and police department in the county and city of residence, according to the press release.
