(12:04 a.m.) -- The University police department received a phone call with no voice contact from the emergency phone outside of the Women’s Center. Officers responded and attempted to stop two men walking away from the area who initially refused to stop, according to police reports. One of the men, 19-year-old Oshkosh student Taylor Goodman, admitted to pushing the button because some girls were following him, the report said. Goodman had no explanation as to why he did not speak to police on the phone or why he walked away and refused to stop when officers responded to the call, according to the report. Officers cited Goodman for misuse of emergency phone.

Community service officers reported several men were involved in a shoving incident in front of the Center for Equity and Diversity which appeared as though it was escalating into a fight at the same time. Goodman was carrying a water bottle full of beer, and admitted he had gotten into a shoving match with another man, according to reports. Officers also cited him for underage drinking (2nd offense). The other man, 18-year-old student Nicholas Jolin, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

(2:30 a.m.) -- Community service officers working at the security station in North Scott Hall reported an intoxicated 21-year-old resident had entered with blood on his shirt. The student told officers he was assaulted, but not concerned about reporting it and walked away, the report said. Later the student was contacted by a police officer for a welfare check. He told the officer that he woke up on the sidewalk in front of Fletcher Hall with a swollen mouth and believed someone “cold-cocked” him, knocking him out, according to the report. He reported he saw no one and had no description of any possible suspects, the report said.

(7:57 p.m.) -- While on a traffic stop in a parking lot across from Taylor Hall, officers heard a female shout an obscenity at them. After completing the stop, officers identified the room and contacted the residents. When officers entered the room, they saw several cans and bottles of beer and liquor, the report said. A 19-year-old student, Michayla Pierce, admitted to officers she had yelled the obscenity, according to the report. Officers cited her for underage drinking and warned her for disorderly conduct. The others in the room, 19-year-old students Olivia Hall and Samia Ahmed-Yahia, and 19-year-old Carroll College student Erika Heyer, were all cited for underage drinking.

(11:27 p.m.) -- CSOs reported that a resident allowed three men to enter Clemans Hall through an unauthorized door, bypassing the security station. Officers spoke to the men and found all three visitors were carrying backpacks containing alcohol. They admitted to officers they had illegally entered the building because they did not want to go through the security station with backpacks full of beer, the report said. Officers also found the resident of the room, 18-year-old Zachary Wettengel, also had a bottle of alcohol in his room. Officers cited Wettengel and 18-year-olds Marshall Maas and Brett Ebben, and 19-year-old Joseph Wettenstein for underage possession of alcohol and warned them all for bypassing a security station, which could have been an additional citation.

(1:47 a.m.) -- CSOs reported a man writing “fuck Trent Morgan,” a University Police officer, on over 20 dry erase boards and some emergency evacuation signs with black marker in North Scott Hall. Officers spoke to the man, 19-year-old student Peter Hebl, who told them he was upset because his friends got tickets from Morgan, and he thought it was unfair, according to the report. Hebl also told officers he was just mad and knew it was a mistake, the report said. He initially denied drinking, but told officers he had been drinking at his sister’s house, the report said. Hebl had a blood alcohol level of .090 percent, and officers cited him for underage drinking (2nd offense) and vandalism.

(11:08 p.m.) -- An officer saw an intoxicated pedestrian walking through Lot 15 slam his hand down onto the trunk of a car and continue walking.  The pedestrian, 19-year-old student Gregory Radtke, was later stopped at the front desk of Taylor Hall. Radtke told officers he hit the car because he was angry about breaking up with his girlfriend, the report said. He was also staggering and speaking with slurred speech, the report said. He had a blood alcohol level of .220 percent, and officers cited him for underage drinking (2nd offense). No permanent damage was found on the vehicle.
