UWO discusses UW System $1 billion surplus

UW Oshkosh Chancellor Richard Wells told an audience of approximately 80 people that university funds are applied for the good of the students. A budget forum was held  Wednesday in Sage Hall in response to a recent announcement from UW System President Kevin Reilly in regards to an update of Wisconsin’s 2013-2015 Biennial State Budget proposal. Once more, with feeling

UW Oshkosh gymnast Madeline Helwig mounted the beam for what seemed to be the 1,000th time during the preseason of her senior year.  After flipping and turning through the air, she ended her routine and got ready to dismount. However, as she was landing, she took one wrong step that would change what was left of her already injury-prone career. Full story

So you’re graduating from UWO this spring, now what do you do?

Late this summer, UW Oshkosh will prepare to welcome a new group of incoming freshmen to campus. This also means that a group of graduating students are preparing for the final days of their University experience. This year’s spring commencement ceremonies will take place May 11, with the semester’s official end date coming on May 31. Full story
